Water Damage Restoration
When water intrudes into your home or business, it doesn’t just affect walls and floors—it threatens your personal possessions. Furniture, clothing, electronics, and family keepsakes can all be damaged by water, mold, and odors. At Phoenix Contents Restoration, we know this is a stressful, disruptive time. Our mission is to minimize that stress and protect what matters most—your belongings.

Contents restoration is all we do. With over 15 years of experience and a team dedicated solely to contents, we bring specialized systems and care to every water damage loss.
Our Water Damage Process
Step 1: Onsite Evaluation & Immediate Packout
Quick action makes all the difference. We evaluate your possessions onsite to determine which items are salvageable and which are non-salvageable. Our trained technicians look for signs of water damage such as swelling, staining, warping, and odor.
We do not dry contents—that is the role of the mitigation contractor. Our focus is on identifying what can be restored and what cannot, documenting everything so you and your insurance company have a clear record.
- Salvageable: Items that can be cleaned and restored to pre-loss condition. These are tagged, barcoded, and carefully packed for transport.
- Non-Salvageable: Items that cannot be restored, or are not financially practical to clean. These are meticulously photo-documented to give you and your insurance company a clear, accurate record.
Even on a small water loss, contents typically need to be removed for rebuild work to happen properly. While storing belongings onsite in other rooms or levels is sometimes possible, it often intrudes on your living space and reduces quality of life. Moving your possessions into our care keeps your home livable and your belongings safe.
All documentation is uploaded into your customer portal, giving you secure, virtual access to both salvageable and non-salvageable items—without the stress of sorting through debris yourself.
Step 2: Cleaning & Restoration
Once transported to our facility, salvageable items are cleaned and deodorized using advanced systems and specialty methods. We evaluate each material and match it with the right process:
- Fireline Cleaning System: Industry-leading technology for processing water-affected belongings.
- Specialty Cleaning Agents & Methods: Tailored cleaning for textiles, upholstery, documents, electronics, and more.
- Deodorization Chamber: Our custom-built chamber neutralizes stubborn water- and odor-related damage, restoring items to a safe, fresh condition.
Our trained technicians focus on one thing—restoring as many possessions as possible to pre-loss condition.
Step 3: Secure Storage
After cleaning, your possessions are stored in our climate-controlled warehouse until your property is ready. Organized, labeled, and tracked, your items stay safe and accessible.
Through your customer portal, you can always see a complete record of your inventory and know where your possessions are at every step.
Step 4: Delivery & Re-Set
When repairs are complete, we deliver your restored possessions back to your home or business. Each box is returned to the same room it was packed from, keeping things organized and easy to unpack. We also reassemble any furniture that was disassembled during packout.
Unpacking services are available as an additional option for those who want our team to handle the full reset of items.
